The improvements that Nate has made in the latest NLP beta are pretty impressive. If you mess up your crop accidentally in either of G2P or FilmLab, you have to do it all over again.
#VUESCAN ALTERNATIVE KOSTENLOS FOR FREE#
Download Nikon COOLSCAN V ED Manuals (Total Manuals: 2) for free in PDF. 03 normally, but be sure to uncheck both drivers (LS-4000 / 8000 / 9000 and LS-40 / 50 / 5000) on the Select Drivers page. If you want to recrop, you can easily do that too. Se VueScan non funziona con il cavo Firewire, prova ad usare una porta Firewire diversa o un diverso cavo Firewire. If you want to make any changes, you can easily (and drastically) change the look of your image in seconds.
I think the best analogy for what I'm trying to say is that using NLP is like being in an actual darkroom and having the negative in your hand. Yes you could convert to JPEG in FilmLab or G2P instead, but you'd be limiting yourself when you go to tweak that converted image, especially considering that these images will typically need more work. Being able to work off of a relatively small RAW file instead of having to make large TIFs for every image (like with G2P or this program) is such a huge benefit. Programs like this and even Grain2Pixel have made me realize how valuable Negative Lab Pro is in terms of its non-destructive workflow in Lightroom. I posted about this in a camera scanning Facebook group and a handful of people there echoed my findings. Maybe it's a difference of using the program on Windows versus Mac, but you're the first person who I've seen use this program who actually got something decent. Yeah, credit where credit is due-I think you got useable results with most of your images (although I think the second image with the car had a cyan colour cast that didn't totally go away).
